Shrimp Bobo

Ingredients: – 1 kg of cassava
– 1 kg of tomato
– 1 kg Onion
– 6 cloves garlic
– 1 bunch coriander
– 2 kg of shrimp
– 5 tablespoons well filled soup tomato paste
– Salt to taste
– ½ cup olive oil
– Palm oil to taste
– 1 liter of coconut milk


Method of preparation: Place the Aipim in a blender and add an amount of water that allows the cassava to be beaten. Put this mixture of cassava in a bowl and set aside. Tip: After a few minutes, due to their different densities, this mixture will be divided into three parts. They will be used in the recipe then the two upper parts which are the more liquid parts of the mixture. The party is the pot bottom, which is called tapioca, will not be used in the recipe. Chop the onions, tomatoes and garlic and set aside.

In a large pan, put olive oil in sufficient quantity to cover the bottom of the pot. Add the garlic cloves and let it brown. Then add shrimp and salt to taste. Let the shrimp cook for about 5 minutes or until all have been rosy.

Remove the shrimp from the pan and set aside. In the same pan where they were sauteed shrimp, put the onions, tomatoes, tomato paste, coriander, salt to taste and let it cook. Remove the stew from heat and puree in a blender and set aside. In the same pan used previously to fry the shrimp and sauté for seasoning, put the mixture of cassava that was resting. Tip: Use only the liquid parts. The lower part, which is more stuck to the pot bottom, is not used here.

Light the fire, stirring constantly, until it forms a thick cream. Add the cream seasoning shakes stirring well to mix-up. When mixing, place the prawns. Finish with palm oil to taste and coconut milk. Serve still warm, if possible in clay bowls to accentuate the flavor.Bobó de camarãoIngredientes: – 1 kg de yuca

– El aceite de palma al gusto
– 1 litro de leche de coco
